After completing her professional degree in architecture, Lovell was hired by Skidmore Owings & Merrill as an architect and moved to Chicago in 1980. She started her own business in 1985 to focus on residential architecture and interior design, and her practice now includes a fine art collection advisory. Lovell creates couture residences that reflect a masterful approach to architectural detailing and an imaginative dialogue around her Clients’ integrated experience of place.

Suzanne Lovell Inc. has received national and international design awards, and their work has been published by Architectural Digest, The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Modern Magazine, Interiors Magazine, Veranda and Boat International. Lovell is an Architectural Digest Top 100 Interior Architect, she was recently inaugurated into the Chicago Merchandise Mart Hall of Fame (2018) and her office was listed as one of the “Coolest Offices” in Chicago 2018 by Crain’s Chicago Business.   

Suzanne is a member of the Director’s Vision Council at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, The Society for Contemporary Art at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Advisory Board of Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture + Design, and participated as a member for the Dress for Success Worldwide Board of Directors. Her book, Artistic Interiors: Designing with Fine Art Collections was published in 2011.

Gosia has worked with Suzanne for more than 15 years. As Design Partner, she and Suzanne consider each project to establish the architectural language, design direction, initial concept sketches, and color and material palettes. She analyzes the fine architectural details as they create the total project, working diligently to ensure all remain true to the design intent. Gosia prepares bid documents, reviews and analyzes vendor proposals and provides final approval so that all architectural product is of the highest quality and design. She collaborates with artists and craftspeople to develop custom interiors, from furniture and rugs to plumbing fixtures and hardware.

Gosia holds a Bachelor of Interior Architecture degree from The School of the Art Institute Chicago. She is also an accomplished fine artist who exhibits regularly, and consistently travels to all corners of the globe for adventure and inspiration.

Kelsey has worked with Suzanne for more than 8 years. Throughout her time with the firm, she has worked with both architecture and interior design teams, giving her the experience to advocate on behalf of the client at all times. As Design Partner, she and Suzanne work closely to develop the design direction for initial space planning, furniture, material palettes and accessories.  Kelsey oversees all aspects of purchasing and procurement in order to plan and execute turnkey installations for our clients.  She and her team coordinate with vendors, makers and installers throughout the life cycle of the project.  Kelsey closely integrates with the architecture team in order to ensure the project flows seamlessly from construction to final installation.

Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.  She is also a registered Architect in the state of Illinois, and NCARB certified.  Kelsey is an active cook, who also enjoys skiing and travelling the country and the world in her free time.

Kristin has worked with Suzanne for more than 15 years managing the firm’s Fine Art Services program. As Fine Art Director, she and Suzanne have worked diligently to build an art department that folds in seamlessly with the efforts of the Suzanne Lovell Inc. design and architectural team. She coordinates purchases from artists, galleries and private collections, and acts as bidding agent to coordinate new purchases at auction. Additional services include restoration, framing and art installation coordination. She facilitates appraisals and consignments, and provides collection management, international logistics, museum exhibition and donation coordination.

Kristin holds degrees in Art History and Studio Art from the University of Illinois, Chicago, with a research concentration and primary interest in Contemporary Art.

Will graduated with honors in Economics and Accounting from Claremont McKenna College.  Following school he worked in the investment industry for 7 years, managing assets at the multi-family office firms ICONIQ Capital and Brownson, Rehmus & Foxworth. Will then transitioned to a CFO role at Suzanne Lovell Inc. and Alice’s Table where he guides the financial and operational decision making of each firm. While his expertise is in business affairs, he comes from a family of architects, designers and antiquarians whom have instilled a true appreciation for the creative side of business.

Will is also a passionate outdoorsman, and can often be found rock climbing, hiking and camping with his wife and young son.

Frank has worked with Suzanne for more than 20 years and is an interior design industry business professional specializing in creative services management. He has worked closely with Suzanne to develop the business protocol that shares clear communication with each client throughout the life of their project. As a member of the Senior Management Team of Suzanne Lovell Inc., Frank coordinates global project scheduling and leads the Business and Administrative teams. Frank manages the firm’s philanthropic and charitable giving efforts and manages the firm’s public relations and marketing efforts.

Frank is active as a part of the Chicago Dancemakers Forum, as a consultant to the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation, and is Past President Emeritus of Hedwig Dances.
