Cox London lovingly produce amazing furniture and lighting!

Since founding Cox London in 2005, this husband and wife team has created a thriving and esteemed business out of making functional art pieces. With a lovely story behind them, Nicola and Christopher met while studying sculpture in London. Nicola went on to art school to further study sculpture while Christopher went into the family antique business with an interest in metalwork restoration and lighting design.

Selecting top artisans, Cox London has earned a wonderful reputation for quality and unique design… something not easy to come by in today’s world where most things only aspire to earn the title “handmade”! Client specifications play a huge part in the end product and you can rest assured that your piece will be lovingly treated and reborn as exactly what you desired.

Known for their work in bronze, brass, glass and steel; we especially love the rich textures. Lucky for us, a partnership with Rose Tarlow was reached in May of 2014 and now, these unique and handmade pieces are all the more accessible to us and our clients!

Inspired by a snake of primitive form, the Serpent Table is cast in bronze with guinea fowl feathers laid under a low glass top. The serpent legs and other metal work is sculpted in clay, cast in bronze then hand patinated with an atmospheric, ancient finish. The top is gorgeous and begs to be touched! Tole oak leaves, which are a symbol of endurance, are individually hand-pressed and meticulously arranged over a painted carved wood cushion frame. The elegant frame is complimented by a gently antiqued mirror plate. This particular mirror has an antiqued patina to it, but different hues can be used upon client request. Dimensions: 36.75″W X 2.75″D X 53.25″H

Inspired by 19th and 20th-century lighting, the Suspension Globe is designed as a hallway fixture. Uniquely crafted with glass and brass suspension rods, this globe is then overlaid with wax lacquers and gold leaf. Dimensions: 19.75″DIA X 46″H
