….A wonderful pair of Sunflower andirons at Allan Katz!

Maison Gerard installed an exceptional lacquered room “Designed as the breakfast-room for the San Francisco penthouse apartment of Mr.Templeton-Crocker in 1928. Templeton-Crocker commissioned Jean Dunand to design three rooms (bedroom, dining room and breakfast room), while Jean-Michel Frank also designed three additional rooms and oversaw all installation. This room together with the Bedroom and the Dining room are Dunand’s most important commissions in the United States. These panels were removed from the apartment in the fall of 1999.”
