Artists and photographers have constructed images since the onset of photography, from an artificially staged scene that includes studio-based and location photography, along with more artistic approaches including photomontage. There are so many artist who are known for working to push the limits of this method: Cecilia Biagini, Cindy Sherman and Goshka Macuga.
