Japanese ceramist Keichi Tanaka creates such amazing wall vases that the flowers are just the “icing on the cake”. Each vase is made by hand and has an aged metallic look with a custom metal-infused glaze. The pieces are fired at 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit and then, a black pigment is applied and they are fired again at a lower temperature. They are elegant and simple and pieces of art. So unless you have a very, very special floral arrangement, let them be.
