Winter time in Nantucket is known as a harsh time of year, filled with wind storms and large amounts of snow! But, before the harsh winter conditions hit the island, early December rings in their Christmas celebration, “Nantucket Stroll“. The streets are lined with trees decorated by local schools, churches and businesses. Carolers walk the streets of town spreading Christmas cheer, and Santa even makes an appearance. This time of year is magical in Nantucket! It kicks off the Christmas season with a bang, not to mention all of the stores have sales, so it is a great time to squeeze in some holiday shopping.
