Teresita Fernández has an outstanding solo show at MassMoCA right now. The show, As Above So Below, grapples with the connection between micro and macro. As Fernández says in her outstanding video, mountains and seeds are the same form at vastly different scales. Her exhibition explores what she calls “intimate immensity.” The show is intended to have the viewer compose their own experience of size and scale by traveling through the museum.
