Alexander McQueen’s “Savage Beauty” is resurrected

Four years ago, the the Costume Institute at the MET mounted one of its ten most visited exhibitions, Alexander McQueen’s Savage Beauty. This year, we are lucky because this exhibition will now be shown in Europe for the first time.  Beginning with his 1992 MA graduate collection through his unfinished 2010 collections, this show will be reminiscent of McQueen’s runway productions with all the drama and flair that was typical of this fashion icon. It’s appropriate that this exhibition titled, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty will open at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, as this was McQueen’s hometown.  Beautifully said,  “London’s where I was brought up, it’s where my heart is and where I get my inspiration.”; This might just call for a trip across the pond!
