Marten Medbo has managed to break some barriers within ceramics… he loves transforming traditional objects such as bowls and vases and making them into unrecognizable, abstract pieces resembling something out of a science fiction movie. Moving to the Czech Republic enabled Medbo to see a different way of producing his art, a way more free and imaginative. And as one of our favorite Medbo pieces is titled. “Unique”, we certainly can not disagree!
