The Art Deco Interior

Did you know that the term Art Deco came from the World’s Fair in Paris in 1925?. The name of the fair was the International Exposition of Modern Industrial and Decorative Arts. The term “Art Deco” was derived by shortening the words Arts Décoratifs, in the title of this exposition. The poster in the image above was the original poster for the World’s Fair.

The Art Deco style was popularized in the 1930’s and is characterized as a modern style relying on geometric forms and symmetry. We couldn’t be more excited to be working on an apartment that is inspired by Art Deco design. We have been gathering images for inspiration and here are a few of our favorites.
