Art Historian Susi Johnston and Macon Tidur

On a recent trip to Bali, we had the opportunity to meet Susi Johnston in her Bali home.  She and her late husband amassed an enormous collection of native Balinese and Asian artifacts which they sold to dealers all over the world from their shop Macon Tidur.  Meeting her at her home gave us the opportunity to experience the beauty of Balinese craftsmanship seated in a contemporary environment.
