Bavarian concert center is an architectural delight from within

When Blaibach, a town in Bavaria, wanted to reinvigorate it’s downtown, they hired architect, Peter Haimerl to create the right structure.  From the exterior, Haimerl’s concert center is a stone-clad, tilted rectangle built at an angle to provide the slope necessary for auditorium seating, and the precast concert panels provide superior acoustical qualities.  The seating is mesh and looks almost transparent, complimenting the straight edges and simplicity of the structure.  Just completed in September, this marvel is indeed staying for the long haul!
