German-born artist, Hans Coper, has a unique style with his pieces that gives them an abstract feel. His work is considered quite progressive and he eventually became one of the leading figures in the 20th century “studio pottery movement”. Non-sculpted, rough in quality and oxidized throughout – his pots are definitely distinctive,”forms”, which he nicknamed: Spade, Flower, Egg, Cup, Bud and Arrow.
