Great lighting is a critical feature in any home! It sets the tone of the room. Finding the perfect fixtures for any room can be challenging. We sat down with famed custom lighting designer Charles Edwards to learn more about his inspiration. “I often get inspiration from lights I see in old public buildings and at large antiques fairs – particularly in France. The Octagonal Frieze chandelier design is inspired by a French 1930’s original,” Charles said. He continued, “Apart from that it is just a question of working very closely with our craftsmen so we get exactly the end result we want – we’re very lucky to have such talented people working with us.”

Charles Edwards was started in 1992 in London as an antique furniture and lighting store. They have grown to offer a collection of over 400 customizable lighting designs from the 19th and 20th century. Their dedication to craftsmanship and ability to customize is bar none! We love working with Charles Edwards.
