Chosen- a winning design for Helsinki’s Guggenheim!

It was recently revealed that a Paris-based firm, Moreau Kusunoki, has been announced as the winner of the Guggenheim Helsinki competition. What’s sure to be a gorgeous structure will grace the city’s waterfront. Titled “Art in the City”, the intent is to provide continuity between the waterfront, park, nearby urban areas… and of course, the museum.

Over 1,700 international and annonymous designs were submitted. We believe a key factor in the decision was the museum skyline which is composed by independent volumes, highlighted by a landmark tower. This is truly a design built with the future in mind!
