Scholar Stones are created by the constant flow and subsequent erosion of a stone by the passing water. The stones take tens of thousands of years to form into beautiful sculptures. What we enjoy most about scholar stones is the contemplative beauty that they posses. The ability to look at them and think about the many years and many situations the stone must have undergone to become a beautiful scholar stone.
