You may remember that we mentioned Daniel Arsham in our artists to watch in 2015 post. He is certainly worth watching! Arsham has exhibitions opening soon at the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center and Galerie Perrotin in New York.

Not only does he have major exhibitions opening this year, Arsham has continued to bridge the gap between visual arts and music celebrities. His lively instagram page flaunts his friendships with the likes of Pharrell Williams and Usher. So, the question that runs though our minds is who is giving and who is receiving credibility through these public interactions, or is it a mutually beneficial image boost? Either way, it is certainly working for Arsham. To read more about this relationship between Arsham and his celebrity friends, read this New York Times article.
