Dior outdid themselves with the Spring/Summer 2015 Paris fashion show! 400,000 bright blue Delphinium flowers (40 tons) covered a 59 ft high mountain for runway show. The structure was designed by Raf Simons and set designer Alexandre de Betak.

The structure was located at the center of the Louvre’s quadrilateral courtyard. On the runway, models were spotlit by four blue, swivel-armed, multi-headed lights that arched over the proceedings like giant flower stems. Our favorite part is that the Delphiniums were covering both the inside and the outside of the structure. Built over the course of three weeks, it took a team of 100 florists, carpenters and riggers to create the massive floral vignette.
