Dries Van Noten has long been one of our favorite fashion designers. His edgy yet impeccably tailored clothing is a favorite of Suzanne’s. We knew some of his fashion inspiration came from art, but we did not know the depth of his artistic references until the exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Artists such as Damien Hirst are shown next to Van Noten’s fashions. The rooms of the exhibition are covered in rich textures and colors creating a layered complexity to Van Noten’s conveyed process.
