As for transformation, there is no question that the baths share the most impactful upgrades. The Full Bath adjoining the Library and the Master Bedroom gives glamour simply by the beautiful architectural material palette chosen. The quantities of specialty tile and stone along with spectacular nickel plumbing fixtures, all from Waterworks, serve to transform the mundane into “Fabulous”!
We took the brave step in plan to face the window. The sink literally faces the light with a mirror surrounded by a window. All of this gives a clean, fresh and bright answer for what was a “hole-in-the-wall” bath with washstand.
As for the expression in the Master Suite, we had a wonderful window wall and an outstanding Parisian photograph to share. With large églomisé bureaus on either side of the bed, the elegance was already established.
Again with Waterworks, we specified a unifying overall simple marble tile and added the foundation of a micro-mosaic floor pattern.
What a transformation from the basics of the original apartment!
