You’d think that perhaps Frank Stella would rest on his laurels… but at the age of 78, this energetic gentleman is still making art. With two concurrent shows (one in London and one in NYC); along with a 2015 retrospective at the Whitney, now isn’t the time to slow down. Stella’s creations are less physically taxing to make now, he’s all about 3D printing. This method might be new for some of us, but Frank Stella has been experimenting in this medium for about 20 years. Quoted as saying, “You expected that your work would evolve,”… well Mr. Stella, it certainly has!
