We are thrilled to share that our friend, Sam Kasten, the talented textile designer and weaver, has been accepted into the famous French Ateliers, Les Grands Ateliers de France. His work has been a part of our design for many years as he has created many a custom textile and rug for our clients. You will see his work at the coming show September 9-13 at the Grand Palais in Paris.
Here we share photos of his work in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, which is where we experienced his talent firsthand. His team was able to dye and color like no other craftspeople we have met, and his ability to direct the craft of elegant hand weaving in the very best materials of the world is truly magical.
