Suzanne Lovell, Inc. was honored to receive three Acanthus awards from The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art Chicago-Midwest Chapter. This year’s events were held at The Driehaus Museum & Elks Memorial, two towering examples of excellence in classical architecture and art. We’re proud to support the work of the ICAA to advance the practice and appreciation of the classical tradition in architecture, urbanism and the allied arts.
Residential Interior Design Award: Lincoln Park Residence, Chicago, Illinois – Suzanne Lovell, Inc. with BGD+C. “The interior design projects an understanding of the restraint inherent in the Regency style and compliments the Clients’ collection of Asian antiques.”
Allied Arts & Craftsmanship Award: Custom Buffet Cabinets, Winnetka, IL – Suzanne Lovell, Inc. with Frank Pollaro. “These custom cabinets designed by Suzanne Lovell, Inc. and fabricated by Frank Pollaro compliment the Clients’ circa 1820 dining table and bridges the divide between the historic dining room and the creation of a contemporary interior.”
Allied Arts & Craftsmanship Award: Reverse-painted Glass Panels, New York, NY – Suzanne Lovell, Inc. with Maureen Fullam. “Elegantly detailed and artistically produced reverse-painted panels create a splendid setting for a rich but calm interior.”
