In December, one of our favorite artists, Olafur Eliasson, teamed up with geologist Minik Rosing. The duo harvested 80 tons of floating ice blocks from Greenland and transported them to Paris, where they were placed in a clock formation outside the Place du Panthéon. The massive public art installation, in partnership with Bloomberg Philanthropies, opened during the United Nations Climate Summit COP21 in Paris. The work melted in the public space, illustrating the importance of climate change issues, while global leaders met to discuss the topics. To learn more about the installation, click here.
