If color is what you’re seeking, you’ll love Jim Lambie’s Zobop installation!

Jim Lambie’s 1999 installation, Zobop, travels from place to place… worldwide. Currently in Scotland, we love the positioning at the Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh. Everyday glossy vinyl tape in varying colors is placed on the floor in continuous lines. As you stare, the many edges dissolve into each other and the space begins to expand and contract all at once. Site-specific, Zobop depends on the location and architecture of each floor. Everywhere from MOMA to Tate Gallery to the Biennale of Sydney has been lucky enough to get a unique Jim Lambie Zobop installation.  What’s next?
