If you plan on visiting London this spring or summer, take time to make a stop at The Tate Modern. The museum has put together the first exhibit of its kind featuring 120 works created by Henri Matisse between 1943- 1952. At this late point in his career, health prevented Matisse from painting; so he took to scissors. His “Cut Outs” depict circus scenes, dancers and a famous snail. Henri Matisse: The Cut Outs is in London through September 7; from there, the exhibit will come to NYC’s MoMA.
