Matthew Solomon’s Natural Beauty

Some of our favorite pieces by Matthew Solomon are his tall works! They are simple yet ornate.

Matthew Solomon was a lawyer until he took up gardening. With his newfound passion he was inspired to leave his law practice and become an artist. Learning from nature around him, he began sculpting flowers and other natural forms. He uses white porcelain and glaze to create magnificent floral-inspired sculptures. We absolutely love that some of them actually function as floral vases while others stand true to a simplistic form. You can find these ceramic treasure at Maison Gerard in New York. And see Solomon’s feature in T Magazine!

This is one of our favorites!
