The Met Breuer and Unfinished

When the Whitney moved to its new larger location downtown, the Met took the opportunity to rent their old space. The new building referred to now as Met Breuer, after the architect of the building Marcel Breuer, will be used to expand the Met’s contemporary and modern collection and programming. The new space has been leased for at least 8 years.

The first exhibition, Unfinished: Thoughts Left Visible, is a fantastic exhibition that spans time. There are works of art by Old Masters and others created by living artists today. The goal was to share the artistic process that is so tangible in unfinished works. The exhibition will be up until September 4th and is certainly worth seeing!
