Who knew that the product we most commonly associate with flooring would have such a striking appeal on the ceiling? A home in New Zealand by architect Michael O’Sullivan was recently featured because of this unique ceiling pattern. The woven pattern brings warmth into the house and the herringbone pattern (in addition to being so fashionable these days) perfectly compliments the terra-cotta tile flooring.
This beautiful kitchen is very bright – due, in part, to the herringbone ceiling pattern and coloring.
