The Next Rembrandt

This is the coolest thing we have seen in a while!! Microsoft has 3D printed a Rembrandt painting. They trained a computer in all things Rembrandt, from height of the paint to the techniques he utilized to create the eyes for his portraits. Once the computer was completely trained, which took 18 months, they allowed the computer to 3D print an “original” work. Not only does the work look like an authentic Rembrandt, it also mimics the texture. A true feat of technology!
