We have been closely watching Olafur Eliasson’s work ever since Suzanne went to see his studio in Copenhagen with the MCA. She came back raving of his amazing work and outstanding thought process. If asked, Suzanne will tell you that she would spend a year in Eliasson’s school if she could. Eliasson’s first major solo exhibition is going on now at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art on the outskirts of Copenhagen. It will run through January 5, 2015. Eliasson said, “What I’m interested in with my work at the Louisiana isn’t really that you experience an object or an artwork. I am interested in how you connect this landscape to the rest of the world and ultimately, how you experience yourself within it…I wonder if our focus on the atmospheric can give us a relationship with something that is very abstract and far away…” To read more visit InCollect.com.
