Riccardo Muti’s conducting of Schubert’s symphonies was spectacular today! Muti adds “feeling, humanism and soul”….every piece is like chamber music with every instrumental section shining with perfection.
It was a joy to see Yo-Yo Ma joined by fellow cellist Giovanni Sollima for the Premiere of Sollima’s newly Muti commissioned Concerto for Two Cellos.
Try to see the February 1st performance if you can – highly recommended!!
