Richard Erdman has been sculpting for several decades. His pieces, both large and small, can be seen at museums or private collections in over 50 countries and counting. At 61, Erdman isn’t planning on slowing down anytime soon. He visits Carrara, Italy 4 times a year to pick out the perfect blocks for his designs. Along with his talented craftspeople, Erdman then transforms these enormous blocks into breath-taking creations. The finished products are always shape-shifting and gravity- defying in a way that’s uniquely “Erdman”.
