The Park Hyatt opened in NYC last month, understandably, to great fanfare. Without a traditional front desk, guests are whisked up to register via a tablet by help of a personal attendant. Designed by, of course, Pritzker Prize-award winning architect, Christian de Portzamparc and designer, Yabu Pushelberg, this hotel will mirror Hyatt’s modern elegance with a touch of old-fashioned class. It’s gorgeous!
What’s more is that the hotel will feel as though you are residing inside an art museum. With curator Erica Samuels at the helm, more than 235 pieces of art have been secured to grace the walls of this unique property. Give it a while and stay again because an art concierge program is being assembled to enable hotel guests access to a selection of private galleries around town. It’s absolutely perfect for any art lover, or budding connoisseur.
