Perfectly situated on China’s Bohai Bay, Vector Architects has constructed a concrete building reflects the sea, light and beach in perfect proportion. With varying images of the sea, light appears differently within the interior and on the exterior wall. With a reading area, a concessions spot and a meditation location (among others), you could spend days in this amazing structure. Light bamboo floors are a nice contract to the strong concrete, and skylights allow for light to filter in even in the dreariest of days. Our favorite are the wall-to-wall windows that enable the reader to shift his focus from book to sea and back again…reflectively!
Seashore Library is a masterpiece play on landscape by China’s Vector Architects. The concrete has an amazing ability to soften at night wtih the large and glowing expanse of glass within.

Mixed wood and concrete provide for a one-of-a-kind minimalistic design. Such an amazing view should be enjoyed by everyone and such, Vector Architects designed raised seating platforms so that everyone can partake in the scenery!
