If gifts were just for giving and had no cost associated, wouldn’t it be fun to “Dream Big”!!

So here I go with my “Dream Big” list for the holidays of 2017!!

Because of my long standing fascination with Queen Elizabeth II, my first pick would be one of Andy Warhol’s portraits of the Queen.

And Edmund de Waal will always be top of the list for ceramics…

…or maybe a playful piece of over-scaled popcorn by Pae White.

Sam Moyer is a new discovery for me. Her work includes building materials like limestone, granite, marble in abstract collages and is akin to what we do everyday, so of course I enjoy see these materials used in fine art compositions.

We were able to purchase one of her works on paper for a home here in Chicago this year.

Also on my list are small things like the wonderful new planting pots by Wedgwood. Perfect for a city herb garden actually!

Of course I will need to take a class with Alice’s Table to learn the basics of potting that city garden!!

And I am still dreaming of a Royal Standard Poodle! As a matter of fact, a pair of siblings are currently under consideration. “Lincoln & Lucy” will hopefully become members of the Suzanne Lovell Inc. team in the late Spring of 2017!

And one always needs a bit of jewelry on a “Dream Big” Wish List! My choice would be a Buccellati etched cuff. No jewels needed, just the hand-etched platinum version.

And last, but certainly not least, one must include a Shingle Style House on the spectacular shores of the Atlantic Ocean! Any town will do!!!

“Dream Big” right on into 2018 with wishes for a Happy & Healthy New Year for family and friends!
