Art shipping and installation is a more complicated process than many people know. It requires careful consideration and a methodical approach. Each work of art must be packaged appropriately; this often includes a custom crate to be made for the object. Then, a team must carefully secure the object in the crate and transport it to its final destination. When considering shipping fine art or antiques, it is critical that you investigate the insurance that you have for the object. You will likely need additional insurance for transport risks. In our office, Kristin fastidiously handles all of these details for clients, allowing complete assurance that objects arrive in mint condition.
