In a country where the main mode of transportation is biking, architect/designer/artist Daan Roosegaarde has managed to illuminate a bike path with patterns based on Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”. A special paint helps to harvest daytime energy to glow when the sun sets. Appropriately, part of this Van Gogh cycle path goes right through the Dutch province where the acclaimed artist was born and raised. The swirling patterns are beautiful and dreamy; it’s indeed a “Starry Night” upon that magical path!
