Villa Kerylos – From inspiration to reality and back

While working in the South of France, Suzanne was thrilled to visit a constant source of inspiration in our office, Villa Kerlyos, in person! Enjoy some of her personal snapshots as we explore how influential this magical place has been, and how this inspiration has developed into design ideas realized in our work!

What is wonderful about Villa Kerylos is that they weren’t afraid to combine patterns and materials into a completely unique space!  Above, a snapshot of the fantastic detail at the Villa…..

A Greek word, “Kerylos” means Halcyon, or kingfisher, which in Greek mythology was considered a bird of good omen.  Here, a detail from our visit……
