A woman of many talents…

Candian-born, Brooklyn-based Alice Waese has managed to amass, over the past couple of years, quite a cult following for her unique jewelry line. With training in both garment design and fine art, this multi-talented designer is also currently designing generously proportioned ready-to-wear clothing and illustrating books.

Each sketch begins with a pencil and paper… thus showcasing the link between clothing and jewelry with illustrations. Her illustrations (she just finished her third book) often are filled with mythical creatures, or hybrids as Waese likes to call them. For example, a human emerges from a horse… this has been know to spur inspiration for Waese’s next jewelry collection. We can hardly wait!

At Waese’s studio/apartment in Brooklyn, the next collection waits patiently for final approval.
