South African artist, Dylan Lewis, is one of the foremost contemporary sculptors. He is the only living contemporary artist to have two solo auctions with Christies, one in 2007 and one in 2011. Lewis uses the 5000 year old technique of bronze casting, but has brought his hand into the process. When you look at Lewis’ sculpture you can see the workmanship of the artist, shifting traditional bronze techniques into a contemporary and tactile form. Lewis is known for his animal sculptures, but we also love his new coffee table!
