We were thrilled with the quality and caliber of art that the dealers brought to EXPO this year, and we’ve been busy wrapping up sales and coordinating the receipt of works that we purchased on behalf of collectors. It has been a fantastic Fall season so far!
This sculpture by E.V. Day (Satellite of Modern Love, 2016) is resin, pure pigment and polymer on a steel stand that is actually 76″ tall. We are presenting it for our client as a centerpiece to her home and having the stand reconfigured for her.
E.V. Day is a New York based installation artist and sculptor who most recently was awarded the prestigious Rome Prize for Visual Arts. Her work is in the permanent collections of The Whitney Museum, The Museum of Modern Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The Brooklyn Museum, The National Museum of Women in the Arts and The New Museum of Contemporary Art among other public and private collections.
