Home (Very) Sweet Home at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac

At Suzanne Lovell, Inc. we are often thinking about how art and decoration can live together in the same space. Decorative objects and art objects must live together with mutual respect for one another; there is a dialog that must exist for a room to be successful. The exhibition HOME (VERY) SWEET HOME takes on these challenges. Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac uses art and decorative objects to stimulate the audience’s senses. The exhibition recreates the movements of the seducer in the novella La Petite Maison, written by Jean-Francois de Bastide in 1758, confronting head on the need for both decoration and art to solicit a response within a living space. We love this exhibition concept! To read more about the exhibition, click here.
