Book a reservation at the newly opened Aman Tokyo and feel yourself “on top of the world” in every sense of the word. Within a city that’s utterly cosmopolitan, this new hotel, which occupies the top 6 floors of the 38-sorry Otemachi Tower is, by far, the most futuristic design of all the 27 properties in Aman’s impressive portfolio. All 84 rooms (designed by the Australian firm, Kerry Hill Architects) replicate contemporary Japanese design and pay homage to Japanese traditions by featuring a deep-soaking furo (bath).
If you choose to leave your room, don’t forget to visit the hotel’s library, inner garden, skyline reflecting pool and of course, the gastronomic restaurant, aply titled: The Restaurant by Aman.

The lobby within Aman Tokyo soars nearly 30 meters high, designed to resemble the interior of a Japanese paper lantern. The enormous “lantern” was created with layers of textured Washi paper stretched on a Shoji frame and it rises six floors through the center of the building. During the day, sunlight flows through, illuminating the lobby, and in the evenings, “programmed” lighting scenes presenting a sophisticated ambiance throughout.
