Even though it’d be easy to do, you won’t likely lose time inside this incredible installation which was presented at the La Triennale Design Museum at Milan’s Design Week earlier this year. Together with DGT Architects out of Paris, Citizen (the Japanese watch company) created magic by using 80,000 main plates (the essential foundation supporting all other components of a watch). The plates suspended in air create an inspirational space and bring an illuminating lightness into the room. We can’t all be watchmakers; but we can certainly all revel in the beauty of this otherworldly creation!
