Nantucket Looms Uncovered

As many of you know, we recently sold our fabric company Twill Textiles. Twill converted Sam Kasten’s hand woven fabrics to machine made yardage. Sam Kasten was one of the original weavers at Nantucket Looms. The store is still on Nantucket, a beautiful home wares store, and still employs production hand weavers creating natural and handwoven mohair, alpaca, cotton and cashmere throws, handwoven rugs, fabrics and more!! So, when we found out that there was an exhibit about the original Nantucket Looms at the Nantucket Whaling Museum we jumped for joy. It is a wonderful exhibition that showcases the true talent that composes Nantucket Looms . Beautiful textiles and rugs!!
