We were thrilled to learn about R & Company’s launch of limited edition rugs this year in Miami. We’ve loved David Wiseman’s work for some time, (his book is amazing!!), and these rugs are simply fabulous.
About the project: The rugs reflect themes and forms seen in the designers’ furniture and objects. Wiseman’s rug incorporates many of the repeating patterns he explores and is inspired by traditional Delftware, while the Haas rug features their playful animal figures. The Haas Brothers and Wiseman visited the weavers in Nepal at the start of the project and developed the designs in response to this extraordinary experience. Each rug is handmade in Nepal with reverence for the rich culture, ancient traditions and the makers’ exceptional craftsmanship.
The rugs are produced in a limited edition of just 12 each. Enjoy!!
