Rogan Gregory of R & Company at #studioSLI

Suzanne Lovell Inc. is thrilled to host R & Company designer Rogan Gregory in our Chicago Studio for a satellite presentation of Known Unknown as EXPO Chicago kicks off the fall art season this week! We will host a private seated dinner Wednesday evening in our studio to welcome R & Company and guest of honor Rogan Gregory.

This satellite exhibit will feature a number of Gregory’s pieces which draw inspiration from various organic forms. Gregory pairs fascinating traditional sculptural mediums and pairs them unexpectedly with materials such as beach sand and igneous rocks.

As R & Company told ArtInfo in anticpation of the New York City exhibit opening, “…Rogan draws inspiration from biological, geological and extraterrestrial forms he discovers in his travels. The study of sea life, fluid dynamics and geology, have been a leading influence for Rogan’s practice and has triggered his interest in how form is governed by weightlessness and neutral buoyancy.”

We are honored to host artist and designer’s works and exhibits at our studio. With our many years of special relationships it’s a true privilege to install and feature such works of art within our studio. Our clients always marvel at our own collection as well as the unique, and always changing, featured exhibits.

All in a morning’s work R & Company’s fine art handlers quickly filled our freight elevator. Once inside we unpacked and placed pieces in anticipation of Wednesday evening’s event.

Always making sure placement is just right, Suzanne and Marissa get hands on!

Never afraid to get hands-on Suzanne and Marissa make a couple minor adjustments to placement. We are amazed at how Gregory’s works have transformed and energized our studio!
