TableArt
In 2004, TableArt opened its doors thanks to a vision comprised of assembling an inspired and edited collection that focuses on refined yet fun entertaining and dining AT HOME. Thus, the name… TableArt.
The collection is unique and ever-changing; there are selections from some of the world’s most revered brands as well as smaller and independent producers the world throughout. TableArt presents over 7,000 objects to choose from at any point in time, with new items added constantly. One thing is certain, huge value is placed on the decorative arts and on the artist and craftsperson who made the piece.
All glassware is handmade or mouth-blown and many dinnerware patterns are hand-painted or handmade. In addition, the linens represented include exquisite handwork that ranges the gamete from simple to quite complicated.
As shown above, TableArt is exceptional with custom capabilities that range from tablecloths that are perfectly sized to fit a table to custom dinnerware pieces. All this is possible due to the sources that TableArt has procured throughout the world. Any vision envisioned can be executed!
The boutique on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles is stunning. Customers are cautioned that some items “on property” might n0t be available online and vice-versa. For example, dinnerware patterns from producers such as Nymphenburg and KPM are so numerous and allow for so many choices and variations that it is impossible to include all of them on the site. Among the choices for customization are shapes, finishes, and patterns.
Some of TableArt’s most unique items are the ones made from leather; the entire collection presented is produced by GioBagnara of Genoa, Italy and its sister companies, Rabitti 1969 and Pigment France.
The main company was founded in 1999 by Giorgio Bagnara; his wife, Vanessa, joined the company several years later. Together, the three companies produce the highest quality leather home accessories and custom handcrafted items. Fortunately, TableArt is the only Southern California distributor; of course, everything can be made to order.
TableArt has the philosophy: the “art of entertaining at home.” We love that… we love that, especially during these complicated and unprecedented times, this idea has come full circle. It all comes down to this: all that matters is having the ones dear to you, near to you. Indeed!
