With the belief that hand-crafted items enrich life, Dan and Dara Brewster used their love of global travel to search out amazing craftspeople throughout the world and help them showcase their unique works while giving increased economic powers to those who deserve it!

Artisan Paula Estevan’s hand-coiled creations are known for their expressive shapes and impossibly thin walls. This traditional Acoma pottery comes from the hills surrounding Pueblo, New Mexico. Made from slate-like clay, the traditional firing methods allow the pottery to form the thin walls. The fine-line designs are meant to symbolize the falling rain.

Always colorful, the platter created by father-and-son team Rustam and Damir Usmantov are especially gorgeous. Rishtan, Uzbekistan houses one of the oldest ceramic art centers in Central Asia, and it is here that these handmade masterpieces are made. The traditional forms along with the richness of the colors make this decorative piece true art.

Yuka Uchida, Stripe Cotton Ceramic Cup by OVO Ceramics.
Japanese designer Yuka Uchida, based in Brooklyn, produces a line of fine porcelain ceramics with a clean, organic look. Each item is unique because it’s made without molding. Crafted in white porcelain, the thin blue line adds just the right amount of detailing.
